Know Us

Cranbrook Food Recovery, Safeway, Save On Foods and Superstore and several smaller food suppliers generously support us with food donations. To supplement this, we purchase food to help ensure quality and quantity in each hamper.  A single person can expect about four grocery bags full of fresh and non-perishable foods from all food groups.  At pick up time, clients choose their own extras ... Toilet paper, toiletries,  tampons, household goods, condiments or specialty foods, kids gifts, and other goodies our community donates.  Bread and sweets (and sometimes other excess foods) available in our outside front BREAD SHED.  Watch our facebook page for occasional FOODSHARE days ...
